"Beyond Spectrums"
My senior thesis film symbolizes autistic masking and feeling out of place. Elouise, an alien seeking a new home on Earth, struggles to adapt to human norms and a new environment. I depict the moment of finding a community and self-acceptance.

I began this project with very ambitious ideas. However, with only two semesters, I had to scrap several scenes I did in the first semester (Spring 2024). Simplifying the narrative while preserving my message was challenging, but with helpful feedback and rethinking, I figured it out in time.
I believe that the process is just as important as the final piece. You can view the deleted scenes in this video!
